The rules for using the Heist website and joining the early-access waitlist.
Who provides Heist
Heist Inc. operates Heist. In these Terms, “Heist,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Heist Inc. These Terms govern your use of useheist.com, the early-access waitlist, and related prelaunch communications.
Accepting these Terms
By using the website or joining early access, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or submit the waitlist form.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. You may not use Heist where doing so would violate applicable law.
Prelaunch service
Heist is in development. The current website describes intended features and an early-access program. Features, supported assets or networks, timing, availability, and eligibility may change or may never launch. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, priority, a launch date, or any particular feature.
Early-access communications
When you join the waitlist, you ask us to send confirmation, product, and access updates to the email address you provide. You represent that you control that address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email. Unsubscribing from optional updates may not prevent essential messages about an access program you later join.
Information only—not financial advice
Heist content is provided for general informational and research purposes. It is not investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice; a recommendation or solicitation; a broker, dealer, exchange, adviser, custodian, or fiduciary service; or a guarantee of safety, liquidity, price, performance, access, or outcome.
Digital assets and markets involve substantial risk, including volatility, technical failures, manipulation, illiquidity, and loss of principal. You are responsible for your own research and decisions and should consult qualified advisers where appropriate.
No trading or custody in the first beta
The planned first beta is read-only. It will not execute trades, connect a wallet, custody assets, or move funds. Any future trading, wallet, or transaction feature will require separate disclosures, review, and user approval before use.
Accuracy and availability
Public data, attributions, estimates, explanations, alerts, and other content may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or wrong. An observed event may be accurate while an explanation of that event is uncertain. Historical or simulated results do not guarantee future performance. You should independently verify information before relying on it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the website unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
- Submit an email address you do not control or impersonate another person or entity.
- Interfere with the website, bypass rate limits or security controls, introduce malicious code, or attempt unauthorized access.
- Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the website in a way that violates law or materially burdens the service.
- Misrepresent Heist content as a guarantee, endorsement, or individualized recommendation.
Ownership
The website, Heist branding, design, text, graphics, software, and other content are owned by Heist Inc. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership or permission to use Heist names, marks, or content except as needed for ordinary personal use of the website.
Third-party services and links
Heist relies on and may link to third-party services, networks, data sources, and websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, waitlist, and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” Heist Inc. disclaims all express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heist Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill; trading or investment losses; or losses arising from reliance on content, even if advised that such losses were possible.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Heist Inc.’s aggregate liability arising from the website or waitlist will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid Heist Inc. for the affected service during the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Suspension and changes
We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the website or waitlist at any time. We may remove a submission or restrict access when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or protection of Heist or others.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Heist changes. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, except where law requires another form of notice or consent.
General
If a provision of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Applicable law and courts with lawful jurisdiction will govern disputes unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
